The NFL brought American football to one of soccer’s most iconic stadiums, so it was only fitting that Neymar showed up for the occasion.
The Brazilian superstar was spotted inside Maracanã Stadium watching the Baltimore Ravens face the Dallas Cowboys.
His appearance immediately caught the crowd’s attention and added even more star power to a historic night in Rio de Janeiro.
The matchup was the first NFL regular-season game ever played in Rio and the league’s third game in Brazil. Neymar watched as the Ravens and Cowboys delivered a thriller, with Baltimore escaping with a 34-31 victory. Two versions of football came together, and one of Brazil’s biggest sporting icons had a front-row seat.
