Who will perform at the Eagles vs. Jaguars halftime show in London?
The NFL Week 5 matchup will feature live music. Here's what time the game starts and where to watch it.
Tomorrow is NFL Sunday, and the Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars are ready for their London showdown. Their matchup at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will be one of the highlights of Week 5 , but this time, the attention won't be solely on the field. The game will also feature a musical performance bringing Afrobeats to the NFL's international stage.
How are the Eagles and Jaguars entering the London game?
The Jacksonville Jaguars have plenty of reasons to feel confident about their start to the season . With a 3-1 record and first place in the AFC South, the team is coming off a 22-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals and will look for another victory to maintain its position.
For Philadelphia, the outlook is different. The Eagles enter the matchup with a 2-2 record and two consecutive losses, a situation made more challenging by the injuries sidelining running back Saquon Barkley and wide receiver DeVonta Smith . Both are key pieces of the offense, meaning Philadelphia will have to take on the game without them.
Ayra Starr will headline the halftime show
Now, for the music: Nigerian singer Ayra Starr will take center stage, making history as the first African artist to headline a halftime show during the NFL's International Games series.
If you're not familiar with her music yet, start with Rush and Bloody Samaritan, two of her best-known songs. You can also check out Santa, her collaboration with Rvssian and Rauw Alejandro .
