Green Bay Packers vs Dallas Cowboys LIVE. Predictions, lineup and more about the Sunday Night Football

Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers enter Sunday Night Football with momentum after a dominant 31-7 win over the Bears, while the Dallas Cowboys look to rebound from a shocking loss to the Buccaneers.
Green Bay (3-2) is chasing a third straight victory, while Dallas (2-3) is making defensive adjustments after allowing a league-worst 6.4 yards per play . The Cowboys brought veteran coach Mike Pettine out of retirement to help defensive coordinator Christian Parker fix the struggling unit.
The matchup renews a rivalry full of drama after their previous meeting ended in a wild 40-40 tie . Former Packers Kenny Clark and Rashan Gary will return to Lambeau Field as Cowboys players, while Micah Parsons remains sidelined recovering from a torn ACL.
The key battle will be Dak Prescott against Green Bay's secondary . The Packers have recorded seven interceptions this season, but Prescott enters the game in strong form with four straight games of at least 275 passing yards , supported by receivers CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens .
Green Bay enters as a 1-point favorite in a Sunday Night Football showdown with major NFC implications.
Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers enter Sunday Night Football riding their most impressive performance of the season, while the Dallas Cowboys arrive desperate to erase the memory of a painful home defeat.
Green Bay (3-2) finally moved above .500 after a dominant 31-7 victory over the Chicago Bears and will look to extend its winning streak to three games. Dallas (2-3), meanwhile, is searching for answers after suffering a shocking 24-16 loss against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers , who entered the matchup without a victory.
"You have to keep stacking wins," Love said. "We talk about it all the time in the locker room. When you have a game like that, you have to follow it up with another great performance."
Cowboys make defensive changes with familiar face
Dallas knows exactly where its biggest problem lies: the defense.
The Cowboys are allowing a league-worst 6.4 yards per play , forcing head coach Brian Schottenheimer to make a major adjustment by bringing veteran defensive coach Mike Pettine out of retirement to serve as a senior assistant alongside defensive coordinator Christian Parker .
Pettine is no stranger to Green Bay, having served as the Packers' defensive coordinator from 2018 to 2020 , and now he will try to help fix a unit that has struggled through the first five weeks of the season.
"We have to coach better. We have to play better," Schottenheimer said. "Our players know there are things they need to improve, and there are things I need to improve. Nobody is pointing fingers at Christian Parker. But as a head coach, you have to make decisions that give your team the best chance to win."
A rivalry filled with recent drama
The last meeting between these teams produced one of the wildest games of the NFL season: a 40-40 tie in Arlington that featured nine consecutive scoring drives to close the game, the most in a final stretch since at least 1933.
That matchup also marked Micah Parsons' return to Dallas after the Cowboys traded their star pass rusher to Green Bay. However, Parsons will not be available Sunday as he continues recovering from the torn ACL that ended his 2025 season.
Still, the game will feature several familiar faces.
Defensive tackle Kenny Clark , a three-time Pro Bowler during his nine seasons with the Packers, now plays for Dallas after being included in the Parsons trade. Linebacker Rashan Gary , who recorded 46.5 sacks with Green Bay from 2019 to 2025 , also returns to Lambeau Field as an opponent after arriving in Dallas earlier this year.
"It's going to be awesome to go back to Lambeau, play a game and try to get a win there," Clark said. "I'm really excited."
Battle to watch: Dak Prescott vs. Packers secondary
Green Bay's defense has been one of the best at creating turnovers, recording seven interceptions while allowing only six touchdown passes this season.
However, Sunday presents a major challenge.
The Packers have yet to face a quarterback of Dak Prescott's caliber . The Cowboys star has thrown for more than 275 yards in each of his last four games and has one of the league's most dangerous receiving duos with CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens .
Series history: Green Bay leads the all-time series 22-17-1 and has won 10 of the last 12 meetings, including playoff games.
Packers in October: Green Bay has won its last nine October games .
Jordan Love: He has thrown at least two touchdown passes in every game this season and has surpassed 300 passing yards three times.
Elite receiving duo: Christian Watson (474 yards) and Matthew Golden (397 yards) make Green Bay the only team with two players ranked inside the NFL's top 10 in receiving yards.
Xavier McKinney: The Packers safety leads the NFL with three interceptions alongside Minnesota's Byron Murphy Jr.
Javonte Williams: The Cowboys running back has six rushing touchdowns, ranking fourth in the league.
George Pickens: Since the start of 2025, he has recorded 1,784 receiving yards, trailing only Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Puka Nacua.
