Jonathan Taylor's wife might alert Simone Biles about Jonathan Owens' future with the Colts: "Should I start packing?!"
The Indianapolis Colts' latest trades have left Ayanna Taylor questioning her family's future

The Indianapolis Colts ' dramatic roster shake-up has created uncertainty for players and their families, with running back Jonathan Taylor' s wife, Ayanna , wondering whether her husband could be the next big name to leave the team.
After Indianapolis traded veteran stars Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner on Tuesday, Ayanna took to TikTok to share her reaction.
Her posts raised questions about whether the Colts are preparing for an even bigger overhaul, with Taylor's future now a subject of growing speculation.
The situation could also resonate with Olympic gymnastics star Simone Biles , whose husband, safety Jonathan Owens , is playing for Indianapolis after several team changes in recent years.
Owens has moved from the Green Bay Packers to the Chicago Bears and then the Colts, meaning Biles is familiar with the uncertainty that comes with an NFL career.
With Indianapolis now making significant changes to its roster, Biles could understandably wonder whether another move might be on the horizon for her husband.
However, there is no confirmed indication that Owens is being considered for a trade, and any suggestion that he could leave remains speculation.
Ayanna's reaction followed the Colts' decision to send eight-time Pro Bowl offensive guard Quenton Nelson to the Seattle Seahawks and defensive tackle DeForest Buckner to the San Francisco 49ers .
Both deals brought Indianapolis additional draft capital as the franchise looks to address a difficult season.
In a short video filmed while she was having her hair done, Ayanna appeared stunned by the news. She added the caption: "POV: You’re just tryin to relax at your hair appointment, but Colts players are getting traded left and right and your husband could be next."
She later posted another reaction that made her concerns even clearer: "Q and now Deforest… should I start packing?!"
Ayanna Taylor fears another major change for her family
The recent departures have been especially unsettling for Ayanna because her husband has spent his entire NFL career in Indianapolis since being drafted in 2020.
Over seven seasons, she has become familiar with the players, their partners and the wider community surrounding the franchise.
Earlier changes had already made the situation feel different. The Colts traded linebacker Zaire Franklin and wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. in March, while general manager Chris Ballard was subsequently fired.
The latest deals have intensified questions about how much of the existing roster will remain in place.
“Is literally anybody safe on this team?” Ayanna Taylor said in her TikTok.
“I’ve never known the Colts organization without these people and it kind of feels like rookie year all over again. So, naturally, my mind is spiraling. Is this the start of the trade frenzy? What does this mean for my husband and I? Do I need to start packing our bags? Are we going to be spending our daughter’s first Halloween together? Will we make it to game day, or was last week the last time my husband is putting on a Colts jersey?”
Her concerns reflect the personal consequences of NFL trades, which can require families to relocate with little warning and adjust to unfamiliar cities, new teammates and different routines.
For Biles , that experience may be particularly familiar. Owens played for the Packers in 2023 before joining the Bears in 2024, then moved to Indianapolis in 2026.
Although those moves do not mean another change is imminent, the Colts ' latest decisions could naturally prompt questions about how secure his position might be.
Jonathan Taylor's performance makes his future a major question
Despite the Colts' disappointing 2-5 start, Taylor has continued to produce on the field. He has scored eight rushing touchdowns and recorded 587 rushing yards, placing him among the league's leading running backs.
Taylor is under contract through the 2028 season, which could make him a valuable trade asset if Indianapolis decides to continue reshaping its roster.
The NFL trade deadline is November 10 at 4 p.m. Eastern, leaving the franchise time to decide whether to retain its star running back or consider offers.
Taylor has played down the speculation surrounding his future. After his wife discussed the possibility of a trade publicly, he said: “I think it's been out there already, so I think her adding [to it] doesn't really change anything,” Taylor said, via James Boyd of The Athletic.
“You know everybody's on TikTok these days. So, you just have to come into work and stay focused.”
For now, Ayanna's posts reflect uncertainty rather than confirmation that her husband will be moved.
Biles may have her own reasons to wonder about Owens' long-term future given his recent team changes, but there is no confirmed announcement that either player is leaving Indianapolis.
The Colts' ongoing roster decisions could nevertheless leave both families watching closely as the trade deadline approaches.
