S imone Biles and Jonathan Owens spent years waiting for their dream home to become a reality, but saying goodbye to the property that housed them during construction has proved considerably easier. The Olympic gymnastics legend and her NFL husband have reportedly found a buyer for their former Texas residence just six days after putting it on the market after the couple's four-bedroom property in Spring , near Houston , was listed for $1.275 million.

The property quickly entering the pending-sale stage, according to Realtor.com, and the development suggests strong early interest in the luxury residence, although the transaction has not been completed and the final selling price remains undisclosed. The 29-year-old Biles and 31-year-old Owens used the home as their base in the Lone Star State while overseeing construction of a custom-built waterfront mansion, a project that ultimately took far longer than originally planned. Now that their new residence is finished, the couple are moving on from the property that helped bridge the gap between their previous homes and their long-awaited permanent residence. The property sale also comes during another transition in Owens ' NFL career, following his move to the Indianapolis Colts on a one-year contract, having previously played for the Houston Texans , Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears . The safety is now based in Indianapolis , while Biles has continued spending much of her time in Texas but travelling to Indiana is not of too much concern to the Olympics star. "I've been in Houston most of the time, so I'm going to officially move there [to Indianapolis] a little bit later," Biles told People. "I'm just excited to watch my husband. It doesn't matter, as long as he's safe and healthy and he's having fun, then I don't care." The couple are expected to retain their newly completed Texas mansion while arranging accommodation in Indianapolis during the football season.

Inside the luxury home that found a buyer so quickly

The contemporary property sits on more than an acre within the gated Castle Court section of Benders Landing Estates , offering approximately 3,998 square feet of living space. Built in 2019, it features four bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms and two primary suites, alongside a three-car garage and extensive entertainment facilities whilst inside, the open-plan living spaces feature soaring ceilings, expansive windows and a kitchen equipped with quartz countertops, custom cabinetry and a waterfall island. A private study, media room, wine wall and sauna add to the appeal, while a resort-style swimming pool provides an outdoor retreat and one particularly distinctive feature is a dedicated mudroom with facilities for washing and feeding dogs, reflecting the couple's love of their pets. The property also benefits from a secluded position without rear neighbors, offering privacy within easy reach of Houston . The listing was handled by Melissa Franklin of RE/MAX Integrity , who previously helped Biles purchase the property in 2020. The residence is described as "pure perfection" and highlighted its suitability for entertaining. When the couple finally received the keys in November 2025, Biles acknowledged the difficulty of the process and stresses patience as a key skill to have – but it’s worth it as their completed residence features a lakefront swimming pool, a spacious kitchen and a bedroom designed to recreate the atmosphere of a luxury hotel.
