S imone Biles is preparing to leave behind a home that represented a significant milestone in her life long before she and Jonathan Owens completed their sprawling dream property outside Houston . The Olympic gymnastics legend has listed her four-bedroom home in Spring, Texas , for $1.2 million after six years of ownership. Biles bought the property in 2020 while she and Owens were dating, and it later became part of their life together before and after their April 2023 wedding.

Now the couple has somewhere very different to call home as their long-awaited custom lakefront mansion was completed in November 2025 after years of planning and construction. That has allowed Biles and Owens to move on from the Spring property and into the residence they designed together, but their first home came with plenty of luxury to keep the pair happy. Built in 2019, the residence spans 3,998 square feet and includes four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and a three-car garage, sitting on more than an acre of land, the contemporary property was designed with entertaining in mind. High ceilings and large windows dominate the interior, while other features include a modern fireplace, media room, private study and custom wine wall as the kitchen includes quartz countertops, custom cabinetry, a waterfall island and hidden pantry. Outside, there is a pool and substantial private space, while the home also includes a dedicated washing and feeding station for pets. Yet the significance of the property went beyond its amenities.

Biles was heavily involved in the design process

Spring was the first home Biles purchased herself and became one of the places where her relationship with Owens developed and their dream mansion took years to complete as the pair began designing their larger Houston-area home in 2020. Construction eventually started in February 2022, and the finished lakefront property includes a large kitchen, home theater, game room, wet bar, swimming pool and spa, basketball court and dedicated areas for their dogs. But the sale does not mean Biles is permanently leaving the Lone Star State as their lakefront mansion remains the couple’s Texas base, but Owens ’ move to the Indianapolis Colts means Biles plans to spend more time in Indiana during the NFL season. “I think we’ve done a good collab of what we wanted our house to look like,” Biles told PEOPLE. “When we designed this bedroom, I told them I wanted it to feel like a hotel and it feels exactly like that.” At the same time, Indianapolis is becoming part of their life too and the Olympian is embracing that chapter too. “I’ve been in Houston most of the time,” Biles added. “So I’m going to officially move there [to Indianapolis] a little bit later. I’m just excited to watch my husband. It doesn’t matter, as long as he’s safe and healthy and he’s having fun, then I don’t care.”
