Andy Reid entered the Kansas City Chiefs’ locker room after their dominant 31-10 victory over the Denver Broncos ready to celebrate his players. He did not know the most important announcement of the night would be about him.

Chiefs owner Clark Hunt stood before the team and explained that although many players deserved the game ball, two people inside the organization had just reached major career milestones.

“There are a lot of players in here who deserve the game ball today, but two very special people are celebrating significant milestones,” Hunt said.

Hunt announced that the victory was Reid’s 150th regular-season win as head coach of the Chiefs. He then placed the game ball in the veteran coach’s hands.

The owner had another surprise. General manager Brett Veach had also reached his 200th NFL victory , giving the Chiefs two reasons to celebrate beyond their impressive performance on the field.

Mahomes completed 15 of 27 passes for 184 yards and two touchdowns in his return from ACL and LCL tears in his left knee. He also rushed for 23 yards and scored another touchdown, while newcomer Kenneth Walker III produced 173 rushing yards and two total scores.

Travis Kelce also passed Jason Witten for the second-most receiving yards by a tight end in NFL history. Taylor Swift watched his achievement from a star-filled suite alongside Tom Cruise, Pat McAfee, Andrea Swift, Donna Kelce and Jason Kelce.

Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt is a billionaire who remains close to the people. Rain or shine, he takes the time to shake hands with fans, just like his wife, Tavia Hunt . He also embraces the players in the tunnel after victories. The Chiefs appear to be rising again, and their owners are there to celebrate every step of the way.
