Brittany Mahomes gives fans a sweet look at family life with Patrick and their three kids
The quarterback has stated that he wants his children to have the freedom to develop their own interests

P atrick Mahomes may be one of the biggest stars in the NFL, but his most enthusiastic supporters are not necessarily sitting in the stands. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback had his family cheering him on during the team’s recent matchup against the Denver Broncos, with wife Brittany Mahomes and their three young children showing their support in unmistakable Chiefs red.
Brittany offered fans a glimpse of the family’s game-day experience on Thursday, Nov. 5, sharing a collection of photographs and videos from the Nov. 1 game at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver. The images captured a heartwarming side of the Mahomes family, with Brittany and the children enjoying time together on the sidelines while supporting Patrick during his 10th NFL season.
There was just one small complication before kickoff: getting three children under the age of five ready for a football game. “If you saw our wrestling match pre-game…no ya didn’t,” Brittany joked in her Instagram caption, adding a laughing emoji. The comment offered a humorous glimpse into the challenges of bringing three young children to an NFL game, even when their father happens to be one of the league’s biggest stars.
The Mahomes children steal the spotlight in Chiefs red
The photo carousel began with Brittany sitting on the sidelines wearing a Chiefs-red top, smiling alongside son Bronze, 3, and daughter Golden , 21 months. Both children were dressed in colors representing their father’s team. Another photograph gave Golden a moment of her own on the field, while Bronze enjoyed some time cuddling with his mother.
The sweetest images, however, came when all three siblings gathered around Brittany for family photographs. The children could also be seen playing with their game passes, laughing, hugging and piling on top of one another as they enjoyed the atmosphere.
The family eventually reunited with Patrick during a break in the action, giving the quarterback an opportunity to spend a few moments with his biggest supporters. Videos shared by Brittany also showed her encouraging Golden to cheer for her father, adding another memorable moment to the family’s game-day collection.
The Chiefs ultimately lost the matchup 28-24 against Denver, but the result did little to diminish the enthusiasm surrounding the Mahomes family’s appearance.
Patrick Mahomes wants his children to find their own passions
Patrick and Brittany, both 31, have been together since their high school days and married in 2022. They are parents to daughters Sterling, 5, and Golden , 21 months, and son Bronze, 3. While football is obviously a major part of their family life, Patrick has previously explained that he wants his children to have the freedom to develop their own interests rather than feel obligated to follow in his footsteps.
During an October 2022 episode of Football in America, before Golden was born, the three-time Super Bowl MVP discussed how he planned to introduce his children to sports. “I’m going to teach my son, my daughter all the fundamentals and whatever they want to learn,” Mahomes said. However, he emphasized that he would not pressure them into pursuing football or any particular activity.
“But at the same time ... I want to let it be about them,” he explained. Mahomes also credited his own parents for allowing him to explore his interests without imposing expectations.
That philosophy appears to be reflected in the family’s approach to raising their children, allowing them to enjoy football games and other experiences without making their father’s profession the center of their childhood.
