B rittany Mahomes clearly wasn't going to let Klint Kubiak 's halftime prediction go unnoticed after the Kansas City Chiefs rallied to beat the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.

The Chiefs erased a fourth-quarter deficit to secure a 30-27 victory at Allegiant Stadium, maintaining their perfect start to the 2026 NFL season. Kansas City moved to 4-0, while the Raiders suffered their first defeat and fell to 3-1.

For Brittany , however, the final score wasn't the only reason to celebrate. She appeared to have been keeping track of what Kubiak said during the CBS broadcast at halftime, when the Raiders were leading 13-10.

Speaking with CBS sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson , Kubiak acknowledged that his team needed to improve but confidently predicted that Las Vegas would finish the job.

“Gotta be better, but you know what? We’re winning. We’re gonna win the game,” the first-year Raiders head coach told Wolfson. The prediction ultimately came back to haunt him.

Rather than simply enjoying the Chiefs' comeback, Brittany used Kubiak's own words as the caption for a post on social media, making the reference impossible to miss.

“We’re winning. We’re gonna win the game,” she captioned her postgame post.

The message quickly attracted attention from Chiefs supporters, many of whom enjoyed the timing of the post after Kansas City had completed the comeback.

“Raiders coach has won 3 games and thinks he’s John Madden ,” one fan wrote.

“BRITTTTTTTT came with receiptsssssss,” one fan added.

“I KNEW his comment was gonna backfire and was waiting,” one fan added.

“He was too confident… should of kept that to himself… GO CHIEFS !” one fan added.

“The caption understood the assignment,” one fan added.

“I had the same thought when he was saying this,” one fan added.

Even NFL on FOX sideline reporter Erin Andrews appeared to appreciate the comment from Mrs. Mahomes , commenting a handful of fire emojis.

The Chiefs found another way to escape a tough AFC West battle

Brittany's post came after what was ultimately a dramatic night for Kansas City.

The Raiders entered the matchup unbeaten and looked capable of handing the Chiefs their first loss. Las Vegas led at halftime and remained in front deep into the fourth quarter, putting Kubiak's prediction within reach before Kansas City produced another late comeback.

Patrick Mahomes wasn't spectacular statistically, completing 15 of 30 passes for 225 yards and two touchdowns, but he avoided an interception and helped Kansas City execute when the game was on the line.

The biggest offensive difference came from Kenneth Walker III . The running back exploded for 177 rushing yards and two touchdowns, including a pivotal 76-yard run that helped swing momentum toward the Chiefs.

Kansas City also had to overcome a difficult night on the injury front. Tyquan Thornton caught five passes for 111 yards and two touchdowns before suffering a serious left-leg injury, while Rashee Rice also exited with a hamstring problem.

Thornton's injury is expected to keep him out for an extended period, adding an unwanted complication to an otherwise perfect start.

The result nevertheless leaves the Chiefs as the AFC's only unbeaten team after Week 4. They will now enter their bye week at 4-0, giving Andy Reid and his staff time to assess both their impressive start and the mounting injuries.

The Raiders , meanwhile, have plenty of reasons for optimism despite the defeat. Kubiak has helped turn the team into a competitive 3-1 club after Las Vegas struggled badly in 2025, and Sunday's game showed that the gap between the two AFC West teams may be narrowing.

But on Sunday night, Kansas City had the final word. And Brittany Mahomes made sure Kubiak's halftime prediction got one more airing, this time with the final score attached to it.
