During the 2025 season , Walker recorded 1,027 rushing yards on 221 carries, averaging 4.6 yards per attempt while scoring five touchdowns. His performance played a key role in Seattle’s historic championship run, which ended with a Super Bowl LX victory and Walker earning Super Bowl MVP honors.
The Chiefs will face Seattle on Friday at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN in their preseason finale. Kansas City enters the matchup after suffering a 16-15 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Saturday.
Once the preseason concludes, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs will turn their attention to their regular-season opener against the Denver Broncos , scheduled for Monday, Sept. 14, at 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN and ABC. Walker’s recovery from the foot injury will be closely monitored as the start of the season draws near.
