New angle shows Tyquan Thornton getting back up after horrific ankle injury

A new fan-shot angle gives a disturbing look at Tyquan Thornton’s severe left leg injury, showing the Chiefs wide receiver somehow getting back to his feet and signaling for a first down before the pain finally forced him back to the ground. Thornton’s adrenaline was so high that he appeared unaware of the severity of the injury. Andy Reid later admitted that “it doesn’t look good” after Thornton’s huge performance ended with five catches for 111 yards and two touchdowns in Kansas City’s 30-27 win over the Raiders.
