Rashee Rice suffers worrying injury vs. Raiders: Is it Tyreek Hill time for the Chiefs?
The Chiefs may be without their No. 1 wide receiver for an extended period of time.

It appears that the Kansas City Chiefs could be without Rashee Rice in the starting lineup going forward. During Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders , Rice awkwardly pulled up after trying to run after a catch. His left knee hit the ground and caused him to stumble. Rice then hobbled out of bounds.
The non-contact injury had everyone worrying about his knee, but Rice actually grabbed at his hamstring. The team then announced that he was questionable to return to the game with a hamstring injury . Rice ended up heading to the locker room with trainers.
Given Rice's injury history, especially coming off of knee surgery in the offseason, the Chiefs will likely play it very safe with their top wide receiver. An MRI will confirm the severity of Rice's injury, which could range from a hamstring pull to a full tear .
Rashee Rice's hamstring injury could open the door for Tyreek Hill-Chiefs reunion
With Rice potentially out for multiple games, Chiefs fans are already calling for the team to sign Tyreek Hill . The former Chief has a lot of familiarity with Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City coaching staff, so the acclimation process would be seamless.
The team was already rumored to be exploring a trade for Hill last season . Of course, the situation has changed due to Hill's brutal knee injury suffered in 2025. But recent videos of Hill shows he's progressing nicely. He could be a logical signing, at least as depth if Rice is out for a while.
