Swifties with FBI-level skills track down location of Travis Kelce's podcast thanks to Taylor Swift memorabilia
A framed picture and red wall were enough for Taylor Swift fans to connect his location to an old photo

Travis Kelce has become accustomed to the intense scrutiny that comes with being married to Taylor Swift , but even by Swiftie standards, the latest bit of detective work was impressive.
A preview for the newest episode of New Heights showed Jason Kelce struggling through “Happy Birthday” on an accordion while his younger brother watched with a blank expression.
Most viewers probably focused on the brothers. Swifties focused on the wall. Behind Travis was a framed photograph of New York City hanging against a dark red background.
Fans quickly matched the setting with an old photograph of Swift taken on New Year’s 2019, when she dressed as Ariel from The Little Mermaid.
In that picture, Swift was seen holding a bottle of Aviation Gin while standing in what fans identified as the same room. That was all they needed.
Old Taylor Swift photo solves mystery
The discovery quickly spread online as fans compared the podcast footage with Swift ’s years-old image.
The Aviation Gin bottle added another familiar connection. The brand has long been associated with Ryan Reynolds , whose wife, Blake Lively , has been one of Swift ’s close friends. The matching artwork, wall color and layout did the rest.
The episode became another example of the extraordinary attention Swift ’s fan base pays to seemingly insignificant details, whether it's clothing, background objects or old photographs resurfacing years later.
Kelce , meanwhile, had a more straightforward reason for being in New York.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end recently turned 37 and traveled to the city with Swift following Kansas City’s 30-27 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders .
“It feels nice because I had a lot of people reach out and say ‘Happy Birthday’ and yeah, it was a good day,” Kelce said.
How Kelce celebrated birthday with Swift
Kelce said he and Swift marked the occasion with dinner at Torrisi in SoHo, one of his favorite restaurants.
“It was a fun day, got some food out here in New York and went to one of my favorite spots, Torrisi, [got] to hang with Tay, and the best news that I got on my birthday was that we got a victory," Kelce said. "Victory dubs!”
Kelce admitted he doesn't typically make a major event out of his birthday and did not have a cake arranged.
That didn't stop the restaurant from making sure dessert was covered. Kelce said Torrisi has “got some good desserts” and brought out “the entire arsenal” during the couple’s dinner.
The celebration itself sounded relatively low-key. The investigation that followed was anything but.
A few background details in a podcast trailer were enough for Swifties to connect Kelce ’s latest appearance to a photo of Swift from nearly eight years earlier.
It was another reminder that when Swift is involved, almost nothing in the background stays unnoticed for long.
