Taylor Swift celebrating more than just her birthday with Travis Kelce: They're both over the moon
The singer joined her husband for an intimate New York dinner as the couple marked his big day together
Taylor Swift chose a sleek, understated look for Travis Kelce ’s 37th birthday celebration in New York, where the couple were spotted arriving together for an intimate dinner.
The 36-year-old singer wore a black slip dress with lace detailing beneath an oversized leather jacket, while Kelce opted for a dark green cardigan, tailored trousers and Cuban-style heels.
The pair arrived hand-in-hand at Italian restaurant Torrisi, with Kelce helping Swift in and out of their vehicle as they made their way inside.
The outing was noticeably more private than some of the couple’s other recent appearances, but it still drew attention as another glimpse into their life together following a hectic few months.
Another public nod to Kelce
The celebration followed Swift ’s surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live over the weekend, where she gave Kelce another public shoutout. Their relationship has also remained a clear theme in her latest music.
Less than two weeks ago, Swift released an expanded edition of The Life of a Showgirl, adding several new tracks including Cleveland!, Patient Zero, Pink Clouding and Babylon.
Cleveland! contains some of the most direct references yet to Kelce and their marriage.
“He already took me to Cleveland / And showed me The Heights, so hate all you like / This is the love of my life, hey, hey, hey,” Swift sings, referencing Kelce ’s roots in Cleveland Heights.
The song also includes a line that frames their relationship as an answer to years of public criticism.
“You only need to find one person in this entire world / Who doesn’t find you completely insufferable / And I have an important announcement to make / I found mine (That’s right),” she sings.
Swift and Kelce continue adjusting to married life
The couple married in early July at Madison Square Garden in a ceremony attended by roughly 1,000 guests, including friends, family members and a long list of celebrity attendees.
Swift referenced the wedding again in Cleveland! with the lyric: “Now I’m wearing white / So hate all you like / This is the love of my life.”
Monday’s dinner was a much quieter affair. After leaving Torrisi, Swift and Kelce were seen getting back into their vehicle and heading to another destination, continuing the birthday celebrations away from the restaurant.
The night also came during another busy period for Swift , whose latest music continues to dominate attention. On this occasion, though, the focus was on Kelce , and Swift made sure she was there to celebrate with him.
