Travis Kelce’s arrival before Chiefs-Broncos matchup
In a video shared by the Chiefs, Kelce, 36, can be seen walking through the tunnels on his way to the locker room to get ready for the home opener against the Denver Broncos on Monday, Sept. 14 .
For the occasion, the three-time Super Bowl champion kept his look simple: a seafoam green shirt, brown pants, sunglasses and a stylish gold watch. However, the centerpiece of his outfit was his sparkling gold wedding ring, which quickly grabbed attention.
The matchup against Denver marks the start of Kelce’s 14th NFL season , a campaign that could be the final chapter of a legendary career. It also represents his first game as Taylor Swift’s husband after the couple celebrated a lavish wedding on July 3 at New York City’s Madison Square Garden .
Kelce had already shown off his ring following the ceremony, but he displayed it again during a Sept. 2 episode of his New Heights podcast , where he talked with his brother and co-host, Jason Kelce.
“You’re finally married!” Jason, 38, said as Travis smiled, lifted the hand wearing his new bling and replied, “I am a married man.”
Although Kelce had been spotted wearing the ring during Chiefs training camp, it was not until that podcast episode that fans got a close look at the accessory’s design. The piece features an engraved crisscross pattern that wraps around the entire band.
