Swift and her husband, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce , were spotted at 1587 Prime on Friday, September 18, as they joined Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes for his 31st birthday celebrations.

The restaurant is particularly significant to the group because it is co-owned by Kelce and Mahomes , making the evening as much a gathering of friends and teammates as a celebrity outing.

The appearance came shortly after Swift had already been photographed at the same Kansas City restaurant with Kelce.

Her repeated visits have fueled online discussion about how comfortable she appears to be spending time in the city where her husband plays and has established business interests.

Not everyone viewed the Kansas City lifestyle in quite the same way. Another social-media user took a more sarcastic approach, writing: “ Taylor Swift married a football player and now she spends her evenings at a mid steakhouse in a midwestern convention hotel. Incredible.”

But the criticism prompted other Swift fans to defend the singer's choice to spend her free time in Kansas City rather than constantly seeking out the world's most glamorous destinations.

Another argued that the location itself should not be the focus, writing: “Realizing this and a fine steak house in Paris are a small hair in difference from each other does a lot for your mental health. Not sure if u knew that.”

A third fan pointed out the ownership connection behind the restaurant: “He owns that steak house with Patrick Mahomes you know,”

And another offered a broader defense of Kansas City, writing: “Seems to be okay as far as Kansas City Experience. KCMO is the closest thing to a big city experience out in that area. Has to be wild to be eating at a decent KC restaurant and then OH SNAP Taylor Swift is there,”
