Xavier Worthy is at it again at Chiefs training camp as he suddenly heads back to his car for his PS5

Xavier Worthy doesn't need anyone's permission to do whatever he wants before practice

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy has had his share of controversial moments during his NFL career. He has faced punishment and fines for celebrations considered prohibited or gestures toward opponents, while some of his key catches in important games have sparked online debate over whether the ball touched the ground before he had control. His most serious controversy came when he was arrested on an assault charge involving a family or household member and allegedly impeding breathing. The case was later dropped after prosecutors declined to pursue charges.

And once again, Worthy did exactly what he wanted just before the Chiefs began another training camp practice ahead of the NFL preseason . As he was walking toward the field, something apparently crossed his mind and he suddenly decided to turn around and head back to his car.

Worthy returns with something unexpected

He grabbed the PS5 he had inside and walked back carrying it, only to give it away to a fan. A fan who certainly wasn't expecting to go home with a PlayStation 5, much less one that a Kansas City Chiefs player may have played himself.

It was a moment filled with happiness, not only for the fan. Surely, the satisfaction of making someone happy, especially one of your own fans can feel pretty good for Xavier, too . Or at least that's what it looked like from the smile on his face.

If doing something good can make you feel this great, why not learn to control the outbursts too, especially when they can lead to allegations involving physical violence?

That's exactly what the wide receiver has to take care of if he wants to focus completely on football, contribute everything he knows he can bring to the Chiefs and continue making his name in the NFL .

On the field, Worthy showed again last season why Kansas City has so much invested in his talent . His speed remained one of the most dangerous weapons in the Chiefs offense, even as injuries and inconsistency affected parts of his season.

But his year also showed the contrast that continues to follow him : spectacular athletic ability on one side and moments away from the football that can become bigger stories than anything he does with the ball in his hands.

This time, however, there was no fine, no controversial celebration and no trouble waiting for him when Worthy decided to do his own thing. He simply turned around, went back to his car and came back carrying a PS5 that was about to make someone's day. Maybe this is the kind of Xavier Worthy “doing whatever he wants” that Chiefs fans wouldn't mind seeing a lot more often.
