Ashton Jeanty’s cryptic post sparks injury concerns among Las Vegas Raiders fans
The Raiders are waiting for answers, but Jeanty’s latest message has everyone talking.
The entire Las Vegas Raiders fan base held its breath recently after it was revealed that running back Ashton Jeanty had to be helped off the field after suffering a leg injury during practice. At first, many feared the worst and even thought he could miss the entire season.
The Raiders have yet to officially confirm the severity of the injury, although multiple reports indicate that Jeanty suffered only an ankle sprain . While the injury could force him to miss some games, it is not expected to threaten his season.
The running back has not spoken publicly about what happened, but he did share a cryptic message on Instagram. Jeanty posted a photo of himself kneeling alongside the Bible verse Romans 8:28.
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose,” the verse reads.
It remains unclear what Jeanty intended to convey with the message. It could be interpreted as thanking God for helping him avoid a more serious injury, or as a sign of faith that even this setback is part of a greater purpose. What is certain is that his return timeline will depend on the Raiders’ final evaluation.
Klint Kubiak provides positive update on Jeanty
Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak typically does not reveal many details about injuries, but his comments regarding Jeanty provided an encouraging sign.
“Again, Ashton got hurt in practice, and the whole team took a knee. That says a lot about him being on the mend and counting on him,” Kubiak told reporters. “Really excited about getting him back. I’m a huge believer in the power of prayer.”
Jeanty enters this season with high expectations after being selected in the Top 10 of the Draft and being considered one of the most talented running backs to come out of college in recent years . His impact will be crucial for a Las Vegas offense that could face major challenges if it is forced to move forward without its top weapon in the running game.
