Gisele Bundchen recalls the date with Tom Brady that changed her life forever
Years after divorce, her emotional reflection on their relationship has resurfaced
Long before Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen became one of the most famous couples in sports and entertainment, their relationship began with a simple blind date and a shared vision of what their future could look like.

In her Vanity Fair interview, Bundchen said that the couple’s relationship began with the same hopes but eventually reached a point where they wanted different things.
“Sometimes you grow together; sometimes you grow apart," Bundchen said. "When I was 26 years old and he was 29 years old, we met, we wanted a family, we wanted things together. As time goes by, we realize that we just wanted different things, and now we have a choice to make.”
Her comments provided a more personal look at the challenges of maintaining a relationship while both people continue to grow and change.
Brady ’s commitment to football remained a defining part of his life, while Bundchen also focused on her own goals and identity beyond being a partner and mother.
Despite their divorce, Bundchen emphasized that the end of their marriage didn't erase the bond they shared.
“That doesn’t mean you don’t love the person," Gisele stated. "It just means that in order for you to be authentic and truly live the life that you want to live, you have to have somebody who can meet you in the middle, right? It’s a dance. It’s a balance.”
