Gisele Bundchen says she turns down 99% of the job offers she receives , and her main reason is something many moms would do if they could: spend more time with their children. At 46, the supermodel weighs each opportunity against the family moments she might miss.

In a cover story for i-D, Bundchen said she asks herself whether accepting a job would mean missing her daughter’s volleyball game, an outing to the park with her youngest son or time spent watching her oldest son DJ. As she explained, the answer usually comes easily and leads her to turn down the offer.

That focus on family also came through in a recent report by PEOPLE. Citing a source close to Bundchen, the magazine said she is in a “very happy” place, enjoying life in Miami with her family and wishing her ex-husband, Tom Brady, the best. The report came amid news that the former quarterback is dating model Candice Swanepoel.

Gisele Bundchen shares two children with Brady: Benjamin, 16, and Vivian, 13. The former couple, who married in 2009, finalized their divorce in 2022. Bündchen and her current partner, Joaquim Valente, welcomed a son in February 2025. She is now balancing life as a mother of three with the demands of a high-profile career.

Her outlook marks a shift from the pace she kept early in her career. Bündchen recalled working as many as 360 days a year and feeling that she couldn’t turn down major projects. Today, she says she has nothing left to prove to anyone and chooses how to spend her time and live her life.

For Tom Brady’s ex-wife , those everyday moments now carry significant weight when she decides which offers to accept.
