It's been an incredible start to the 2026 NFL season for the Las Vegas Raiders . After a season in which they were quite literally the worst team in the league, new head coach Klint Kubiak has already completely changed the culture within the franchise, and the team is 3-0 to begin the season.

Even though the short-term success is great, the organization is still very much in a rebuilding process. Stopgap quarterback Kirk Cousins has played at a very high level through the first three games, which has allowed first overall pick Fernando Mendoza time to sit and learn behind the veteran. This was Kubiak's ideal plan .

Could Las Vegas Raiders trade for Marvin Harrison Jr.?

With the future still very much in Kubiak and the organization's minds, the idea has surfaced of the Raiders potentially trading for a young wide receiver to pair with Mendoza . The team currently doesn't have an alpha wideout on the roster, and fans have identified one name in particular: Marvin Harrison Jr.

The former fourth overall pick has faceplanted this season after an underwhelming 2025. Despite his immense talent, it's just not clicking for MHJ in Arizona . Naturally, that has many assuming a trade could be on the horizon.

The Raiders seem like a logical landing spot. Tight end Brock Bowers is the team's top pass-catching option, and wide receivers Tre Tucker , Jalen Nailor , and Cody White simply aren't great players. Harrison hasn't proven to be great either, but a change of scenery could be exactly what he needs - and the Raiders could reap the rewards with his trade value diminishing.
