Mike Vrabel reinforces potential Drake Maye drama as he sounds lost about his QB's shoulder injury at press conference
At 1-2 and with Maye playing at a league-worst level, the tables have fully turned within the New England Patriots organization.

It's too early to say Week 4 is a must-win for the New England Patriots , but last year's AFC champions seem to be on the ropes following an embarrassment at the hands of the Jacksonville Jaguars and a 1-2 start. The biggest concern right now is Drake Maye .
Last year's MVP runner-up has been arguably the worst quarterback in the league through three games this season , consistently turning the ball over and appearing to lack zip on his passes. His performances have many wondering if he's hiding an injury. That notion was justified this week when Maye appeared on New England's injury report with a shoulder injury .
Mike Vrabel doesn't know if Drake Maye got treatment for his shoulder injury or not
Maye was taken off the injury report on Friday ahead of Sunday's game, but it was still concerning that he was listed initially. Despite the listing, Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel didn't seem to know what to make of the situation. When asked about Maye getting treatment for the shoulder, Vrabel admitted he didn't even know if his own quarterback did so or not .
I'm sure that he was in the training room. I'm not really sure. I mean, again, if he's on the injury report, I'm sure that at some point in time he got treatment. So that's why we listed him on the injury report.
Vrabel has always been coy about injuries , even dating back to his time as head coach of the Tennessee Titans . He doesn't like revealing too much information about player injuries, as it could give the other team a competitive advantage.
But this situation is noteworthy due to rumors emerging of possible friction between Vrabel and Maye in the locker room.
