Adam Vinatieri made some of the most important field goals in NFL history, but his latest kick took him higher than ever before.
The Pro Football Hall of Famer traveled to Jungfraujoch, known as the Top of Europe, where goalposts were installed in the snow of the Swiss Alps. At an altitude of 11,332 feet, Vinatieri successfully completed the kick and established an official Guinness World Record for the highest-altitude field goal ever scored.
Vinatieri won four Super Bowls during his legendary career, three with the New England Patriots and one with the Indianapolis Colts. Now, even in retirement, one of the greatest kickers of all time has added another record to his résumé.
