The first quarter of the New York Giants' season opener against the Dallas Cowboys delivered exactly the type of drama fans expect from one of the NFL's oldest rivalries. It also delivered one of the biggest hits of Week 1.
Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart was sent flying along the sideline after absorbing a crushing blow from Cowboys linebacker DeMarvion Overshown on a scramble that appeared to have already carried Dart out of bounds.
The collision immediately drew attention.
