Daejon Love only got called out by one woman who saw right through his NFL career lies
People can't believe so many women didn't ask more questions surrounding Love's alleged football career.
One of the craziest NFL storylines heading into the 2026 season actually has nothing to do with a real NFL player. In fact, it has to do with a fake NFL player .
Daejon Love was arrested last week for running a scam that ended up totaling $1.3 million . Love created a fake persona on social media, claiming to be a San Francisco 49ers player. He used his fame to meet up with women through dating apps and social media.
He then convinced them to invest their money or take out personal loans through his "financial advisor" Taylor Jamie Chan , who was also arrested. While what Love did is terrible, social media hasn't let that stop it from turning Love into full-on meme material.

But there's something about the situation that some people can't comprehend: How so many women didn't call "BS" on his NFL claims , when all it would take was a Google search to confirm them.
As it turns out, there was one woman specifically who saw through all of the lies . The woman outright asked Love to show her highlights from his college football days. He says he didn't have any because he got hurt in college .
The woman then began questioning why the 49ers would sign him despite him not having any highlights and almost no experience . Love's fallback was that he was invited to a private tryout with the team where he " killed it ".
After continuous questioning, Love went on the offensive and tried to turn the tables on the woman by suggesting she doesn't know how the league works . Ultimately, the woman didn't buy it at all. But it sounds like she was one of only a few who outright questioned his credentials from the get-go. One fan says, " This is how EVERY interaction should have gone ".
