What led police to Jed York

Investigators allege he responded to an online advertisement while using the name "Joe" and communicated with undercover officers before traveling to the meeting location . He received one day in jail, credited for time already served, and $1,150 in fines.

The legal case may be resolved, but the NFL could still have the final word. The league has said it will review the incident under its Personal Conduct Policy, while the 49ers have declined further comment. For York, however, the newly released footage has brought an incident that happened away from the football field suddenly back into the spotlight beginning with two words captured on a police camera: "Just driving."
