Who is Danielle Belluomini? Wife of 49ers owner Jed York, who was arrested on prostitution charges
A private family life has become public after a 2026 divorce filing and York’s Ohio arrest

Long before Jed York became one of the NFL’s most recognizable team owners, Danielle Belluomini was building a career far from football’s glare.
The former science teacher married the San Francisco 49ers owner in 2011, and the couple went on to have two sons while largely keeping their family life out of public view.
That low-key approach has now been disrupted by a pending divorce and the renewed scrutiny surrounding York after his recent arrest in Ohio.
Court records cited in the supplied reports show York filed for divorce in Santa Clara County Superior Court on May 11, citing irreconcilable differences.
Belluomini later responded, and the case remained pending in the latest available records. The filing reportedly lists the couple’s two minor sons and notes the existence of a premarital agreement.
Danielle Belluomini built life outside football
Belluomini worked in education before and during the early years of her relationship with York.
She taught sixth-grade science at a public school in San Francisco’s Hunters Point neighborhood and later volunteered at a charter school in East Palo Alto.
The couple married in 2011. Their first son, Jaxon, was born in October 2012, with their second son, Brixton, arriving later.
Unlike York , whose role with the 49ers placed him regularly in front of cameras, Belluomini rarely became part of the public conversation. One of the couple’s more visible appearances together came at the 2017 NFL Honors in Houston.
Her social media presence has also remained limited. Her Instagram account is private, while her X account has been largely inactive in recent years.
That contrast helped preserve a sense of privacy around the marriage even as York ’s professional profile continued to grow.
Divorce filing came before Ohio arrest
The couple’s pending divorce attracted new attention after York was arrested in East Palestine, Ohio, on August 23 during an operation involving local police and the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force.
He was initially accused of engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools. The legal outcome was different from the original allegation.
Prosecutors amended the prostitution-related charge to misdemeanor disorderly conduct, and York pleaded no contest to that charge as well as misdemeanor possession of criminal tools.
He was ordered to pay $1,150 in fines and received credit for time already served in jail.
The 49ers later issued a brief statement: “As this is a legal matter, which has been resolved, we will not be providing any further comment at this time.”
There is no evidence in the supplied material linking the Ohio case to the divorce filing, which occurred several months earlier.
What can be said with certainty is that Belluomini , after years of avoiding the spotlight, is now receiving far more public attention because of legal developments involving her estranged husband.
Her story remains largely defined by privacy, family and a career in education, even as circumstances around York have pulled their marriage into the headlines.
