T om Brady reacted like any fan when he saw the alarming injury suffered by Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels near the end of the first half against the Dallas Cowboys .

The former quarterback, now a Fox Sports analys t, was visibly stunned watching the replay of the play in which Daniels’ left elbow bent in a concerning way after a fall at AT&T Stadium.

“Oh, s***,” Brady exclaimed on the broadcast.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion quickly apologized for his reaction and explained that he hadn’t expected to see such a graphic image.

“Sorry. I wasn’t expecting to see that,” he said.

The injury occurred on the final play before halftime. Daniels was stepped on while receiving the ball near the Dallas goal line, lost his balance, and fell to the turf. As he tried to brace himself, he put his left arm down and suffered an injury that immediately recalled the elbow dislocation that sidelined him last season.

Although a definitive diagnosis has not yet been announced, the Commanders confirmed that Daniels would not return to the game due to the left elbow injur y. He was carted to the locker room while Marcus Mariota took over the offense for the second half.

Concern is heightened because Daniels suffered a similar injury a year ago—an elbow dislocation that forced him to miss four games. After returning, he reaggravated the same area and did not play again that season.

Following a historic rookie campaign in which he emerged as one of the NFL’s brightest young stars, Daniels appeared in only seven games last season due to physical issues. Washington is now hoping this latest injury does not carry more serious consequences.

Daniels was not the only player to leave the game with an injury late in the second quarter. Cowboys cornerback Cobie Durant also exited after suffering a hamstring injury when he was accidentally stepped on by teammate Markquese Bell. Durant was sent to the locker room and later ruled out for the remainder of the contest.
