Planes fly less than 50ft above rugby stadium in dramatic stunt for Springboks vs. All Blacks game in South Africa

Two Airlink planes delivered a dramatic pre-match spectacle at Cape Town’s DHL Stadium, flying less than 50 feet above the venue ahead of South Africa’s clash with New Zealand in the “Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry” series. One aircraft was painted Springbok green, while the other featured black livery symbolizing the All Blacks, creating a striking tribute to both teams. The airline shared footage of the daring flyover online, with Flightradar24 confirming just how close the planes came to the stadium before kick-off. The spectacle set the stage for another intense chapter in the rivalry, as South Africa went on to beat New Zealand 33-26 in a hard-fought second Test.
