Influencers interrupt Naomi Osaka’s US Open match to stage photo shoot in luxury suite

Naomi Osaka was ready to serve. Anastasia Zakharova was waiting on the other side of the net. But before the match could continue, chair umpire Kader Nouni had to turn his attention away from the court.

A group inside a luxury suite was standing, making noise and recording content. Another woman was seen using a bright ring light while play was taking place inside Arthur Ashe Stadium.

Nouni finally intervened and asked them to sit down. For a few uncomfortable seconds, the tennis had to wait while the group finished turning one of the sport’s biggest stages into its own photo studio.

Thousands of fans would have loved the chance to be inside that stadium. These guests had one of the best views in the building, but at that moment, watching the match appeared to be the last thing on their minds.
