Paige Spiranac swapped the golf course for one of tennis' biggest stages on Wednesday as she attended the US Open in New York.

The social media personality and former professional golfer made her way to Flushing Meadows to watch the action at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, with Coco Gauff 's quarterfinal against Mirra Andreeva providing the main attraction.

Spiranac shared several photographs from her day at the tournament, including courtside pictures from Arthur Ashe Stadium. She wore a sleeveless blue-and-white checkered top with matching trousers as she took in the atmosphere at one of the year's biggest sporting events.

The visit was also connected to a brand appearance, with Spiranac thanking skincare company La Roche-Posay for hosting her at the tournament.

She wrote across her Instagram story snaps: “US Open. One of my favorite events! Thanks to @lararocheposayusa for a great day!”

The timing of Spiranac 's visit could hardly have been better. She was in the stadium to see Gauff survive one of the most dramatic matches of her 2026 campaign.

Gauff , the No.4 seed and 2023 US Open champion, recovered from losing the opening set to defeat fifth-seeded Andreeva 2-6, 7-6(7), 6-2. The American had to save two match points during the second-set tiebreak before taking control of the deciding set.

For Spiranac , who has built a huge following by combining golf content, sports commentary and lifestyle posts, the match provided a particularly memorable reason to be at the US Open.

Incredible comeback keeps Gauff title hopes alive

The quarterfinal was hanging in the balance when Andreeva earned her first match point at 6-5 in the second-set tiebreak. She had another opportunity at 7-6, but Gauff refused to let the match slip away.

The 22-year-old American eventually forced the deciding set and then pulled away from the 19-year-old Andreeva , completing the comeback in two hours and 19 minutes. It was Gauff's first appearance in the US Open semifinals since her breakthrough championship run in 2023.

Gauff said of her heroics: “I think I’ve learned a lot. I’ve played a few tie-breaks this year and I’ve learned from them.”

The American also revealed that Frances Tiafoe 's extraordinary comeback victory the previous day helped inspire her when she found herself in trouble against Andreeva .

“I was just really determined to not lose that second set,” Gauff said, according to the official US Open website. “I mean, sometimes you just need a little bit of inspiration, and Frances was that for me in that moment.”

The victory extended Gauff 's remarkable record in three-set Grand Slam matches this year to 20-4 and continued a strong summer that included another Cincinnati title.

Her reward is a semifinal meeting with Elena Rybakina , who became the new world No.1 after defeating Zheng Qinwen in the quarterfinals. The other women's semifinal features Aryna Sabalenka against Jessica Pegula .

For Spiranac , meanwhile, the day offered a chance to experience the US Open from a different sporting perspective. Her appearance also comes at an interesting time for the tournament, which has been drawing increasing attention from influencers and other celebrities.

Gauff herself recently addressed the growing presence of influencers at the US Open, saying she had no issue with them attending as long as proper tennis etiquette was respected.

Spiranac 's visit appeared to fit firmly into the fan-and-guest side of that equation, with her social media posts documenting an afternoon spent enjoying the tennis and celebrating one of the tournament's biggest American stars.

And after witnessing Gauff escape two match points and reach the semifinals, Spiranac certainly picked an unforgettable day to visit Flushing Meadows.
