Henry Cejudo will fight an “Euphoria” actor, and the stakes are much more serious than they seem
Cejudo lost his opponent, and a new one didn’t take long to appear.

The fight between Henry Cejudo and Deen The Great was scheduled for September 26, but the boxer and influencer had to withdraw from the card after suffering an injury.
The change caught fans off guard because the event is only days away. However, Misfits Boxing quickly found a replacement: Javon “Wanna” Walton, the young actor who played Ashtray in Euphoria .
And yes, the change in names might make more than a few people think Cejudo simply has another celebrity in front of him who decided to give boxing a shot.
But that’s where the story gets much more interesting.
Who is the “Euphoria” star fighting Cejudo?
Walton is only 20 years old , but boxing didn’t enter his life after he became an actor.
He started training when he was just 4 years old and went on to rack up more than 80 amateur fights . He was also a U.S. junior national champion.
He made his professional debut in December 2023 and enters this fight with an undefeated 3-0-1 record, including one knockout .
He has also appeared on major fight cards and is affiliated with Most Valuable Promotions, Jake Paul’s promotion company .
And that small detail changes the story quite a bit.
Cejudo, meanwhile, is stepping into unfamiliar territory.
Not because he is a beginner in combat sports. Quite the opposite .
Cejudo has the résumé no one can ignore
Henry Cejudo is 39 years old and has a career that makes any comparison a complicated one . He won Olympic gold in freestyle wrestling at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and later became a two-division UFC champion .
Cejudo finished his MMA career with a 16-6 professional record and spent years competing against some of the best fighters in the world.
But there is one difference that matters a lot for this fight: Cejudo has never competed in a professional boxing match.
This time, he won’t be able to use takedowns, kicks or the other tools that are part of Mixed Martial Arts. Everything will have to be settled under boxing rules .
And that’s where Walton could feel much more at home.
A fight between two completely different kinds of experience
There is also a physical difference that could come into play. Walton stands around 5-foot-8, while Cejudo is roughly 5-foot-4 .
The agreed weight for the fight has not yet been fully formalized because of how recently the announcement was made, so it would be too early to turn that factor into a definitive advantage.
What is clear is that they are arriving with very different résumés.
Cejudo has Olympic gold, two UFC championships and years of experience competing at the highest level . Walton has youth, extensive amateur training and four professional boxing fights without a loss.
None of those factors guarantees what will happen when the bell rings. But they do make this fight much more interesting than the simple image of a UFC legend taking on an actor.
Where will the fight take place?
The fight will take place on September 26 at the James L. Knight Center in Miami, Florida .
