LeBron James gets tough with Joel Embiid in funny 76ers locker room moment

LeBron James once again found a way to become the center of attention, even though he was not the one answering questions during a postgame media session. While Joel Embiid was speaking to reporters inside the Philadelphia 76ers locker room, James approached from behind and jokingly questioned why his teammate was standing so close to his locker. Embiid played along, apologizing while referring to James as the player with 16,000 career field goals. The exchange came just hours after LeBron made NBA history by becoming the first player to reach that milestone, achieving it with a left-handed dunk early in the second quarter. At 41 and in his 24th season, James continues to extend his lead over Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who finished with 15,837 field goals, while Karl Malone remains third with 13,528. The milestone came during Philadelphia's 112-106 victory, which improved the team's record to 8-1 and gave it the best mark in the Eastern Conference. Beyond his production on the court, James is also making an effort to connect with his new teammates and the Philadelphia crowd, using his personality and sense of humor to help establish chemistry within the group.
