Angel Reese’s sporty-chic look before the decisive game
For the occasion, Reese chose a fitted white long-sleeve shirt paired with wide-leg gray track pants featuring three white stripes down the sides . Black sneakers completed the outfit, with a neutral color palette that kept the look simple and urban.
Her accessories added personality to the ensemble. The basketball star wore black sunglasses with chunky frames, carried an oversized black bag, and sported white wired headphones . She also held a cream-colored reusable water bottle, while her long, wavy hair added volume to an outfit that let the basics do all the work.
Atlanta dreamed of a title, but Golden State took it all
As Reese prepared for the biggest game of the season, the Atlanta Dream were looking to cap off a campaign that had already marked a turning point for the franchise. The team finished the regular season with a 30-14 record and reached the Finals after defeating the New York Liberty in the semifinals .
The championship series had its share of twists and turns. Atlanta took a 2-1 lead and forced a winner-take-all Game 7 after defeating Golden State in front of its home crowd in Game 6. The deciding game also made WNBA history, marking the first time the league’s Finals had gone to a Game 7.
