Angel Reese's Game 4 performance came with a silver lining despite brutal loss
The Atlanta Dream couldn't get anything going offensively against the Golden State Valkyries, and the WNBA Finals are now tied at 2-2.

The arrow was pointing way up for the Atlanta Dream heading into Saturday. With a 2-1 series lead and playing at home, the Dream could have come within one win of a championship with a victory at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday.
The shots simply weren't falling for Atlanta, though. A 33% team field goal percentage , paired with nine missed free throws , kept the Dream from getting a crucial win. The Golden State Valkyries won 67-62 and have now tied the series at 2-2 with home court advantage in their favor.
There were many culprits for Atlanta's offensive struggles, but Angel Reese has taken the brunt of the blame. Reese shot a measly 2-of-12 from the field, while also committing six turnovers . Despite many fans online lighting into Reese for her performance, there was at least a silver lining for her: She actually led the team in plus-minus .
Angel Reese and Alisha Gray led the team with a +1 plus-minus in Dream's Game 4 loss to Valkyries
Reese was a +1 for the game, as was Alisha Gray . They led the Dream, while the other three starters were all negative: Jordin Canada with -1 , Naz Hilllmon with -4 , and Rhyne Howard with -6 . The bench was particularly detrimental, as DeWanna Bonner was -9 and Isobel Borlase was -7 . No one else played more than a minute.
Even though she struggled to score and keep possession throughout the game, Reese still contributed in other ways like she always does . She grabbed nine rebounds , handed out three assists , blocked three shots , and added one steal . That was enough to make her impact an overall positive one in Game 4.
The Dream only lost by five points despite a lot of things going wrong on Saturday. But if they continue to struggle to score, they might not be able to get back into the series before it's too late.
