N icki Minaj is one of the best-known singers worldwide , this time she is in the news not because of her music, but because of the legal problems she is going through. And indeed, Kurzman Eisenberg Corbin & Lever , a law firm, has asked a judge for permission to stop representing the performer and her company , Pink Friday Productions, in a lawsuit filed by another company, 24/7 Productions. This was reported by the American outlet TMZ.

In the court documents published by the aforementioned newspaper, the attorneys argue that there are “irreconcilable differences” related to the defense strategy and a major breakdown in communication with the singer. The origin of the dispute lies in a claim by 24/ Productions.

This lawsuit accuses the performer and her company of failing to reimburse him for more than $200,000 in expenses he allegedly incurred in the production of the album ‘Pink Friday 2’ . The law firm , hired to defend the rapper, believes that the professional relationship has deteriorated to the point where it is no longer feasible to move forward with the case.

The situation has gotten to the point of complicating the notification of their decision to Minaj. The lawyers claim to have had difficulties giving her the corresponding raises . This request still has to be approved by a judge , so the law firm still officially remains Nicki Minaj's legal representative.

It is not the only legal front Nicki Minaj has open

On the other hand, Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani , a law firm, is also seeking around $295,605 from Minaj and her company Harajuku Barbie Music LLC for legal services provided in a dispute over alleged copyright infringement related to the song ‘I Lied’. Lastly, Donald Trump , president of the United States, has shown his support for the singer at several political events.
