Without a doubt, Lady Gaga is one of the biggest icons in music. Her career, personal style and different stages of life have captured the interest of millions of people, and that fascination extends to some of the places that have been part of her story. One of them is a spectacular penthouse in New York City that is now on the market for just under $7 million .

Inside Lady Gaga’s former New York penthouse

The apartment spans two levels and combines spacious interiors with features designed to make the most of both indoor and outdoor living. The first floor includes two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, an office, a kitchen, and a generously sized living and dining area.

A fireplace and large windows complete this space, highlighting the property's open layout while offering views of the city. The floor plan also separates the entertaining areas from the more private sections of the home .

The upper level is home to the primary suite, one of the penthouse's standout features. It includes a skylight, a walk-in closet and direct access to an outdoor terrace, adding another distinctive touch to the property.

One of the most eye-catching features is the private rooftop terrace, which offers views of Midtown Manhattan . In a city where outdoor space can be a luxury, having a private area to enjoy the open air adds considerable appeal to the residence.

The building also provides a range of amenities for residents, including a doorman, a residential manager, a gym and storage spaces. These features complement the asking price of a property located in one of Manhattan's best-known areas.

Lady Gaga wasn't the only famous name to live in the building

The property's history comes with an interesting detail: before becoming a luxury residential building, the site was home to The Hit Factory, a renowned New York recording studio.

Music legends such as Madonna, Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen and The Rolling Stones recorded there. The studio closed in 2005, and the building was later converted into luxury condominiums .

In addition to Lady Gaga, real estate firm Douglas Elliman confirmed that former NBA player Carmelo Anthony and comedian Tracy Morgan also lived in the building . However, it has not been specified whether they owned any of its units or occupied them as tenants.

As a result, Lady Gaga's former penthouse offers two major attractions: a spacious residence in the heart of Manhattan and a building with ties to some of the biggest names in music and entertainment.
