What new Pepsi and Lay’s flavors are coming to the U.S. this holiday season?
From a vanilla and cream Pepsi to potato chips inspired by festive dishes, PepsiCo is preparing several new releases for the coming months.
You know the holiday season is getting closer when limited-edition products start appearing on store shelves. Pepsi and Lay’s know it, too, and are preparing five new Christmas-inspired flavors to win over consumers .
What new Pepsi and Lay’s flavors will be available?
Pepsi will kick off the season with Pepsi Vanilla & Cream and Pepsi Zero Sugar Vanilla & Cream , two varieties that combine the classic cola flavor with notes of vanilla and cream. Both will be available for a limited time starting in October, in 12-pack cans and 20-ounce bottles.
Lay’s, meanwhile, is betting on a special collection called Holi-LAY’S , featuring five varieties inspired by the flavors of holiday celebrations.
When will the new flavors hit stores?
The new products will arrive at U.S. retailers on different dates. Here is the expected schedule for trying each variety:
Late October: Lay’s Cheddar Scalloped-Style Potatoes and Roasted Holiday Turkey chips will arrive in stores. November 8: Lay’s Maple Bacon will begin rolling out to stores nationwide. December: The sweet varieties Lay’s Wavy Milk Chocolate and Wavy Dubai-Style Dark Chocolate-Covered Potato Chips are expected to arrive at select stores.
