Awkward Locker Room? Lane Kiffin’s daughter reveals breakup with LSU linebacker Whit Weeks

Lane Kiffin is preparing LSU for another important stretch of the college football season, but the Tigers coach has found himself at the center of an unexpected personal storyline involving his daughter and one of his senior players.

Landry Kiffin appeared to acknowledge the end of a relationship in a TikTok video posted Wednesday, October 28, prompting renewed questions about her romance with LSU linebacker Whit Weeks .

The Ole Miss student shared footage of herself sitting on a couch, wrapped in a blanket, while her younger brother, Knox Kiffin, attempted to cheer her up with an amusing performance.

"Brothers trying to comfort their sister after a breakup," Landry wrote across the video.

She added in the caption: "I know who to call if I ever need humbling."

Knox , a quarterback at University Lab School in Baton Rouge, responded by lip-syncing to a scene from the animated film Shrek, in which Donkey attempts to reassure another character about their appearance.

Questions about the couple's future first emerged earlier in October, when Landry shared several TikTok posts during a trip to Dallas.

One featured lyrics from rapper Big Sean 's song Beware, including a reference to a woman with a broken heart, prompting followers to speculate about her relationship status.

The timing attracted particular attention because Landry and Weeks had publicly acknowledged their romance in September 2025, before her father became LSU 's head coach.

Their relationship created an unusual dynamic after Kiffin left Ole Miss for Baton Rouge, placing Weeks under the supervision of his girlfriend's father.

However, reports of a possible separation became less certain when Landry and Weeks were seen together on the sidelines during LSU's game against Auburn on October 24.

Wednesday's latest post has now revived those questions, although Weeks has not publicly confirmed that their relationship has ended.

Whit Weeks faces injury uncertainty

The speculation arrives during a difficult period for Weeks , who has been recovering from a serious leg injury sustained against Texas A&M on September 26.

The senior linebacker fractured his right leg during LSU 's 35-6 victory and subsequently underwent surgery, leaving his return date uncertain.

Weeks has remained an important member of the Tigers ' defense, having earned First-Team All-SEC honors in 2024 after recording 125 tackles.

His absence has complicated Kiffin 's preparations, particularly with LSU scheduled to face Alabama on November 7.

LSU relationship with Whit Weeks remains professional

Weeks previously addressed the unusual experience of playing for his girlfriend's father, explaining that their personal connection hadn't affected their football relationship.

Kiffin 's immediate priority remains preparing his team for its remaining SEC schedule, while Weeks continues working toward a return from injury.

Whether Landry 's latest post marks the definitive end of their relationship remains unconfirmed, but it has added another unexpected dimension to Kiffin 's first season in Baton Rouge.
