Shedeur Sanders sends a message by missing Deshaun Watson's party: Is something wrong inside the Browns organization?
Multiple reports indicate that the young quarterback was not among the Browns teammates invited to Deshaun Watson's house after their latest victory.

D eshaun Watson opened the doors of his home to celebrate with his Cleveland Browns teammates following the team's latest victory, although multiple reports indicate that one of the biggest absentees was Shedeur Sanders .
Anthony Lima revealed the details during The Ken Carman Show with Anthony Lima, where he said he had spoken with several people familiar with the gathering.
“I asked and was told by multiple people who would know. They said he was not at that party. Maybe he had a prior commitment to go to,” Lima said.
The questions began after Watson hosted teammates following Cleveland’s win over the Baltimore Ravens . According to Lima, the interest in whether Sanders attended reflects the divided opinions surrounding the young quarterback.
“You know when Shedeur is at something. He’s got camera crews, social media is omnipresent when it comes to all that kind of stuff,” Lima said. “A bunch of people were asking if he was at the party, because people are trying to win arguments on whether he’s the best teammate of all time, or the worst of all time.”
Despite the speculation, Lima made it clear that he does not believe there is any bad blood between the Browns’ top two quarterbacks.
“I thought Shedeur and (Deshaun) got along just fine. I think people are trying to make this a bigger thing by asking the question,” Lima said. “I don’t know if he had a prior commitment, or maybe there was another high school he was at donating footballs to at that time.”
Watson followed through on his promise and hosted the gathering
Watson welcomed his teammates on Monday night after Cleveland’s 13-10 victory over Baltimore, improving the Browns’ record to 4-2 . The gathering featured food trucks, card games, pool and table tennis, creating a relaxed atmosphere for players to spend time together away from the team facility.
The idea came together during the postgame celebration, when Watson received the game ball and several teammates suggested hosting a get-together at his house. Later, his wife, Jilly Anais Watson , shared on Instagram how quickly she had to organize everything.
“Loved bringing this all together with my husband, even if he did give me less than 24 hours to pull it off,” she wrote on Instagram.
Watson explained that the idea of getting together had already been discussed before the game against the Ravens and said his home would remain open to teammates whenever their schedules allowed.
“So, it’s really just the timing of everything and when guys are free,” Watson said.
