Everything's falling apart in Dallas: Cowboys players are hiding and going silent
The Cowboys’ latest collapse was followed by an unusual scene in Dallas.

One day after one of the most embarrassing losses of the season, the Dallas Cowboys found themselves at the center of another controversy after skipping their usual media availability following their defeat to the Arizona Cardinals , a team that earned its first-ever victory at AT&T Stadium .
Are the players hiding? Total silence in Dallas
The majority of the Cowboys’ players had already left the facility before the scheduled media session , leaving the locker room nearly empty when reporters arrived.
“The Cowboys had locker room availability, but the majority of the roster had already left before we got in there. No players were interviewed. I can’t say I remember something like that happening before,” explained Jon Machota of The Athletic .
Later, Joseph Hoyt of The Dallas Morning News reported that the reason was that the players’ internal programs had ended earlier than scheduled, which left very few players available during the time reserved for media access.
However, the situation raised questions given the team’s current struggles. Media availability is a weekly obligation for all NFL teams , and the absence of players came immediately after a particularly painful loss.
The Cowboys blew a 14-point fourth-quarter lead for the first time in franchise history and ultimately lost 33-30 in overtime to a Cardinals team that entered the game with just two wins on the season.
Arizona has also become a surprisingly difficult opponent for Dallas in recent years , adding to the frustration surrounding a franchise that continues searching for consistency while facing increasing questions about its direction.
