Andy Reid can’t hide his joy when Travis Kelce surprises him with a cheeseburger in the Chiefs’ locker room
Travis Kelce’s sneaker-box surprise gives the Kansas City coach exactly what he wants

Andy Reid gets a surprise in a new video posted by the Chiefs: Travis Kelce walks into the locker room with a wrapped box that looks like it could hold sneakers. But when Reid opens it, there’s a cheeseburger inside. The players celebrate as the coach smiles at the reveal, turning his favorite food into the punchline of the scene.
Patrick Mahomes also appears in the playful montage , with the quarterback and Kelce joining their teammates in the joke. The video lands because Reid’s affection for cheeseburgers is already familiar to Chiefs fans.
After Kansas City won the AFC Championship, Reid summed up his celebration with a memorable line: “I had a cheeseburger and went to bed.”
The Chiefs look to bounce back against the Broncos
The lighthearted moment comes as Kansas City prepares for a tough divisional matchup . The Chiefs are 5-1 after losing 20-3 to Seattle on Oct. 25, their first defeat of the season. They visit the Denver Broncos on Sunday, Nov. 1, at 3:25 p.m. CT, with the game airing on CBS. NFL.com
Kenneth Walker III has given Reid’s offense a powerful running option since joining the Chiefs this season. He has rushed for 701 yards and six touchdowns on 120 carries through six games.
Seattle held him to 36 yards in his return to face his former team, but his strong start has helped give Kansas City another way to move the ball.
Mahomes and Kelce remain the familiar connection at the heart of the offense: the Chiefs credit them with 59 touchdown connections, the most by a quarterback and pass catcher in franchise history.
Kelce was limited in practice with an ankle issue earlier in the week, but he practiced fully Friday and was cleared from the injury report for Denver.
