Too soon? Deion Sanders' girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, reacts to being called that by Coach Prime's grandson
Snow has taken to Coach Prime’s girlfriend with a youthful fondness.

Karrueche Tran has received a heartwarming sign of how close she has become to Deion Sanders ' family after the actor revealed that his grandson, Snow , had started calling her “grandma.” Snow shares a birthday with his grandfather, making the little boy particularly special to the Colorado Buffaloes coach and his growing relationship with Tran also suggests that she is becoming increasingly comfortable within the family.
Tran shared the moment on Instagram Stories on October 10, laughing about the unexpected milestone as her romance with the two-time Super Bowl winner Sanders continues. “Snow tapped my leg today and called me ‘grandma’ lmao,” Tran wrote, offering fans a glimpse into her growing bond with Sanders ' first and only grandchild as their connection has been developing for some time. Even before their relationship attracted widespread attention, Tran went viral in a video showing her dancing with Snow as his mother, Deiondra Sanders , shared the clip through her son's account with the affectionate caption “Lil Grandma.” The pair have since shared several sweet moments together. In an April video posted by Bucky Sanders ' Well Off Media , Snow visited his grandfather's ranch with his mother, where Tran greeted the toddler with a warm hug and told him, “I missed you.” Snow later showed off a matching dinosaur outfit and enthusiastically presented Tran with a dinosaur toy before taking her to see his collection and she joined in with his excitement while Sanders watched the interaction nearby.
Colorado Buffaloes continue struggling in NCAA season
Whilst Sanders ' family life has provided some positive moments, his Buffaloes are facing a difficult stretch on the football field as Colorado suffered a 29-7 defeat to the Texas Tech Red Raiders in Week 5, extending its losing streak to three games. The Buffaloes started promisingly, scoring a touchdown on their opening drive, but the No. 12-ranked Red Raiders responded with 29 unanswered points as mistakes proved costly, including missed field goals. Colorado also had an unsuccessful fake punt and an interception thrown by receiver Joseph Williams on a trick play whilst quarterback Isaac Wilson also struggled, throwing three interceptions after Sanders opted to start him ahead of Julian Lewis . John Curry returned one of Wilson 's passes for a touchdown, while Brice Pollock recorded two interceptions as the Red Raiders improved to 5-0 overall and Sanders acknowledged the disappointment. “The score is not indicative of who these guys are and who we are,” Sanders said. “I don’t believe so. It’s just very unfortunate. I expected a win. That's what I expected today. “A tremendous win that would've made the bye week so much better. We're going to work. We're going to right the wrongs, looking to see how some of the young men respond.” Colorado now has its bye week to regroup before hosting Utah Utes in Boulder on Saturday, October 17 at Folsom Field .
