Brad Pitt opens up about the estrangement from his children: "You are going to suffer loss and pain, but you look for small victories"
The actor has given an interview to the British newspaper The Sun

Brad Pitt has opened up about the profound feeling of "pain and loss" caused by his separation from Angelina Jolie and the subsequent estrangement from his six children. While promoting his new film, ‘In the Heart of the Beast’ , the 62-year-old actor drew a direct parallel between the survival techniques he learned for the shoot and the psychological process he went through after his family fell apart .
“When I think about the most difficult moments, I undoubtedly leaned heavily on my closest relationships. Friends, close friends, a small group of close family members,” he began by saying in an interview given to The Sun, acknowledging that relying on that circle was essential to get through the most complex stage of his life.

After that, the actor explained that survival experts teach you to focus only on the next step. “You are going to suffer loss, you are going to suffer pain, but it is simply about getting to the next small victory” , he said, making it clear that he adopted this mindset to focus solely on getting through each day.
"I thought that corresponded to life in that sense, in the sense that when we're struggling and going through many challenges, we simply focus on getting that next small victory , without thinking about the bigger picture, just that next small victory," the Hollywood star said.
After a long divorce process that formally lasted from 2016 until the end of 2024, Brad Pitt's relationship with his biological and adopted children was severely damaged . In fact, several of them have decided in court to sever ties with their paternal surname. Currently, the actor has managed to stabilize his personal and romantic life alongside businesswoman Inés de Ramón.
