P owerball players have another chance to win a life-changing fortune on Monday, October 19, as the estimated jackpot reaches $607 million following Saturday's drawing, prior to being subject to state and federal taxes.

Tickets cost $2 per play and are sold in 45 states, Washington, D.C. , Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands . In jurisdictions where online sales are permitted, players may also be able to purchase tickets digitally.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292,201,338. Although players can win smaller prizes by matching fewer numbers, no number-selection strategy can guarantee a jackpot or improve the probability of a particular combination being drawn.

Players must meet the minimum legal age in the jurisdiction where they purchase a ticket. U.S. citizenship or residency is not required, so eligible international visitors can buy tickets while visiting participating jurisdictions, although tax obligations may apply to prizes.

The jackpot rolled over after the previous drawing failed to produce a ticket matching all six numbers. Players hoping to claim the top prize must match five white balls drawn from 1 to 69 and the red Powerball , selected from 1 to 26. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292,201,338.

The winning numbers for Monday's drawing have not been revealed yet, but Powerball drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. The results can be watched through the lottery's official drawing page, while previous drawings are available on its YouTube channel.

Check your ticket against the official results after Monday's drawing, and remember that the $607 million headline figure is an estimate rather than a guaranteed cash payout.

How much is the $607 million Powerball jackpot worth?

The advertised jackpot represents the annuity value, paid through an initial payment followed by 29 annual payments that increase by five percent each year as winners can instead choose a smaller lump-sum payment.

Both prize options are listed before taxes, and federal and state levies can substantially reduce the amount a winner ultimately receives, so the advertised jackpot should not be confused with the final take-home sum.

Players who prefer not to select their own numbers can use a Quick Pick , which allows a lottery terminal to generate a random combination, and the Power Play add-on costs an additional $1 and can multiply eligible non-jackpot prizes, depending on the multiplier drawn.

Powerball made headlines previously in December 2025 when a single ticket sold in Arkansas matched all six numbers to win an estimated $1.817 billion jackpot and the winner.

The winner could choose the advertised annuity of $1.817 billion but opted for a lump-sum payment of $834.9 million.

The prize ranked as the second-largest lottery jackpot ever won in the United States , and was the biggest Powerball prize of 2025.
